This little tool has been a great security enhancement over the years. Trouble is, it's so out of date that there are likely several folders or registry areas not covered due to updates to Windows. StartupMonitor is described here, item number 3.
So, after looking at various alternatives, which are non existent, at least nothing that isn't out of date also, I wondered if such a thing were possible with Rainmeter?
Does Rainmeter possess the ability to monitor a folder and the registry for changes and even less likely, provide the ability to allow or block those changes?
Any ideas for alternatives?
Thanks.![Thumbs Up ]()
